Architecture. Art. Anthropology. Integrated.

Studio Hennie is a research and design practice focused on cultural infrastructure.

The studio explores how institutions, spatial environments, and material systems shape cultural and collective experience. Through exhibitions, public art, architecture, production, and research, the practice examines the relationships between people, places, organizations, and the structures that support cultural life.

Rather than treating design as an isolated act, Studio Hennie approaches projects as part of larger social, institutional, and spatial ecologies. The work moves between strategy and implementation, inquiry and making, connecting ideas to the processes through which they are realized.

The studio's interests include exhibitions and museums, public art, civic and cultural space, design research, institutional practice, and the evolving role of culture within the built environment.
